Worcestershire Chinese Association

The Worcestershire Chinese Association was established by Chairman Frankie Tsang in 1999 as a non-profit, voluntary and community sector organisation serving the interests of the local Chinese community. Frankie leads the Association to promote Chinese culture in the county and bridge language and understanding gaps between the Chinese and local communities.

The Association has organised Chinese New Year celebrations in the City Centre since 2000 and holds regular fundraising events for local charities and the UK Chinese Education Foundation.

The Association’s Aims and Objectives are:

  • Serving the interests of the local Chinese community in Worcestershire
  • To promote Chinese culture locally and International Business & Investment between Worcestershire & China
  • To bridge gaps in language and understanding between the Chinese and local community
  • To work closely with public services to deliver projects and events that benefit all
