Colour in an elephant!
We’ve loved seeing all the colourful rainbows in windows across Worcestershire as everyone has stayed home to stay safe – something which keeps patients and nurses at St Richard’s Hospice safe too
And it’s got us thinking about next summer when we’ll bring a splash of colour to Worcester as our herd of elephants parade through the city. Thing is, that’s quite a long time away and we think we all need some more colour in our lives now!
So, maybe you could help us? We’d love to get Worcester’s Big Parade started early with a herd of colourful elephants parading across windows across the county.
All you need to do is download one, or as many of our elephants as you like, work your best creative magic on them and pop them in your window for all to see when talking a walk or cycle ride locally.
Let’s keep everyone smiling and bring on the parade!
Ele-fantastic Junk Modelling!
How would you like to make your very own elephant from things you can find at home?
See our elephant made from and old milk bottle, scrap paper, glue and glitter, pictured here on the right!
A step-by-step guide can be found here. Smaller hands may need help from a grown-up to cut the milk bottle so please do ask for help. We bet your grown-ups would love to make an elephant too!
And if you send us a picture of your ele-fantastic creations on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram we’ll share them for more people to enjoy across Worcestershire.
